I’m thrilled to share my experience from Music Jam 2024, held at the Gdańsk Cultural Institute (Instytut Kultury Miejskiej, Targ Rakowy 11, Gdańsk). This event brought together incredible talent, and I had the chance to team up with the talented young programmer and hacker, Kyryl Medvediev, to create a unique music and light show.
In just two hours, I composed a special track for the jam using Logic Pro X. With Kyryl’s technical expertise, we took the performance to the next level. He connected LEDs to an input microphone and programmed them to react dynamically to the music, creating a stunning visual experience that evolved alongside the track.
To build the song, I used Logic Pro X, with Sylenth1 handling most of the synth elements and Logic’s Drum Machine Designer for the drum programming. For the final polish, I applied a mastering chain using Waves plugins, optimizing the sound for a live setting.
During the performance, we presented the music directly from Logic Pro X, with Kyryl’s module synchronizing the LED sequence in real-time. The energy was electric!
And now, I’m excited to offer the Logic Pro X project template for FREE – just register on our site to access it! This template includes all synth parts, drum programming, and mastering chain setups, so you can recreate or remix the track yourself.

Music Jam 2024 in Gdańsk — A Music & Light Collaboration to Remember
Music Jam 2024 took place on 8–9 November at the Gdańsk Cultural Institute (Instytut Kultury Miejskiej, Targ Rakowy 11). The event brought together a room full of talented people, and it gave us the chance to team up with young programmer and hacker Kyryl Medvediev on a one-of-a-kind music and light show.
In just two hours, we composed a special track for the jam in Logic Pro X. Kyryl then took the performance to another level: he wired LEDs to an input microphone and programmed them to react dynamically to the music, so the visuals evolved in real time alongside the sound. During the set, the music played straight out of Logic Pro X while Kyryl’s module synced the LED sequence live — and the energy was electric.
- Synths: Sylenth1 handled most of the synth elements
- Drums: programmed with Logic’s Drum Machine Designer
- Mastering: a Waves plugin chain, tuned for a live setting
- Visuals: microphone-driven LEDs reacting to the track in real time
And now you can have the project for yourself. We’re offering the Logic Pro X template for free — it includes all the synth parts, drum programming, and the mastering chain, so you can recreate or remix the track. Just register on our site to grab it. Get the free template →
